Volunteer Applications
Each school accepts applications for volunteers throughout the year. If you need more information, please visit your child's school site website.
The governing board recognizes that volunteer assistance in schools can enrich the educational program, increase supervision of students, and contribute to school safety while strengthening the schools' relationships with the community. The board encourages parents/guardians and other community members to share their time, knowledge, and abilities with students.
The Tulare City School District requires all volunteers to have a tuberculosis (TB) test and be fingerprinted. The best way to help ensure your child is safe at school is to fingerprint all school volunteers, just as we do all employees. If your student attends one of our schools, and you plan on volunteering, you must be fingerprinted before you can volunteer (unless you have already been fingerprinted for TCSD). For more details, please visit your child's school website.
