Leadership Opportunities

Student Council
 
Under the coordination of Mr. Gonzalez, Mrs. Goodsby, Ms. Castillo, and Ms. Pires 4th and 5th grade students have the opportunity to run for student officers and classroom representatives. These student leaders help with assemblies, student activities, spreading Warrior Pride, planning dress up days, and any other student led activities on campus.
 
Wilson United for Good
Wilson United for Good is a student leadership team that focuses on our 3rd District Priority, Connecting to the Local and Global Community. This student leadership team is composed of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. These students make sure that everyone is welcomed into the Warrior Nation and that as a school community that we are reaching out to help solve problems in our local and global community.
 
Tribes
Every class at Wilson Elementary is selected to be part of one of three tribes, Blackfoot, Apache, or Mohawk. These cross grade level tribes work together to strengthen their school community by promoting school pride and unity. They participate in rotations and pow wows where they must learn and work together as a tribe and as buddy classes. Students have the opportunity to be leaders as they collaborate and work together as a tribe.
